Stores

Stores include all the details of each merchants locations or outlets. They include basic details like Name and Address, but can also include more advanced data like opening hours and features. 

Stores Overview Screen

The stores overview screen allows the user to see all existing stores and their details. A store can be edited by clicking on the store name, or deleted by clicking on the red "delete" button on the right of the screen.

 

New Store Screen

To create a new store you need to fill in the following fields:

  • Store Type: Stores are either physical or virtual. Selecting virtual disables the address and map details.

  • Name: The name of the store which is both shown in the backend platform but is also sent to the mobile app where it can be displayed.

  • Address: The physical address for the store

  • City: The city within which the store exists.

  • Post Code: The post code (or area code) within which the store exists.

  • Region: Regions are reconfigured in Plexure. Select the region within which the store exists.

  • Country: Select the country within which the store exists.

  • Map location: Drop the marker pin into the correct store location on the map. This will automatically populate the latitude and longitude fields.

  • Email: Enter in a contact email address for the store.

  • Phone Number: Enter in a contact phone number for the store.

  • Website: Enter in a web url for the store. Must start with http:// .

  • Store Group: Select from none, one or more than one pre-configured store groups that this store should belong to.

  • Extended Data: Use extended data for any other details (structured or unstructured code) that should be sent to the app along with the other store details.

  • Open Hours: Enter the open and close times of the store on a daily basis.

  • Features: Enter any specifically notable features about this store. Examples could include: Wifi, Drive Thru, Playground, Large Format Store etc.

  • Content Tags: Are a class of tags designed to describe the store. They need to be setup in the tags area of the relevant owner organisation. Examples could include: Nightlife, Entertainment, Late Night, Popular, Outdoor etc.

  • Weighting: Assign a base weight, weight by consumer tag, weight by operating condition or weight by distance resulting in a customer specific total weight which the app can use to sort or order the content. Typically from highest weight to lowest.
