Operating Conditions

Operating conditions are a type of tag that is a system-wide tag as opposed to a tag applied to an individual consumer (consumer tags) or a piece of content (content tags). There are three types of operating conditions

  1. Manual Operating Conditions: The operating condition has been created and is a non-regional tag that is enabled or disabled manually. Select non-regional from the drop-down at the top of the page to view manual operating conditions. The operating conditions on the right of the table (Current tags) are enabled and the operating conditions on the left of the table (Choose tag to add) are disabled. Operating conditions can be moved from one list to the other and the results saved by clicking "save" at the bottom of the page.

  2. Regional Operating Conditions: Regional operating conditions are manually managed (updated) operating conditions but specific to a region. Select a region (which needs to be set up in Settings > Regions) from the drop-down list at the top of the page to view all regions and the regional tags within each region. The regional operating conditions on the right of the table (Current tags) are enabled and the regional operating conditions on the left of the table (Choose tag to add) are disabled. Regional operating conditions can be moved from one list to the other and the results saved by clicking "save" at the bottom of the page.

  3. Automated Regional Operating Conditions: Automated regional operating conditions are used to automatically update weather tags on a regional basis. Select a region (which needs to be set up in Settings > Regions) from the drop-down list at the top of the page to view all regions and the automated regional operating conditions within each region will be displayed. By default the automation is refreshed on the hour. Automated operating conditions can be manually changed and saved but will be changed to the automatic values on the hour when the automation runs. The exact parameters of the weather tags will have been configured during platform setup - speak to your Account Manager if you wish to review or change these.
