The Push Message Activity Report shows the following information:
- Successful Notifications: All push notifications that were successfully sent by Plexure. Successful notifications in the Push Message Activity report is a more accurate figure to show the number of push notifications sent compared with messages sent in the push message dashboard. There may still be some inaccurate data due to a number of reasons e.g. the APNS or GCM sent the push notification but device was turned off.
- APNS Successful Notifications: All push notifications that were successfully sent by Plexure to iOS devices.
- GCM Successful Notifications: All push notifications that were successfully sent by Plexure to Android devices.
- Invalid Channel Errors: Number of push notifications that could not be sent due to errors. These errors could be because of expired tokens or the token has been changed by another consumer on a device and Plexure was not notified in time.
The reports can be further filtered on the basis of:
- Period: Ranging from the last 24 hours to 30 days.
- Interval: Allows you to view in intervals of hours and days for the selected time period.
There is a configuration setting in the Plexure backend that enables / disables this report.
Note: Please note the delay in aggregation of reporting data as per the below schedule:
- Hourly reporting has an aggregation delay of at most 3 hours
- Daily reporting has an aggregation delay of 1.5 days
- 7 day reporting has an aggregation delay of 3 hr (uses hourly data points)
- 30 day reporting has an aggregation delay of 1.5 days (uses daily data points)
